Jack Thompson

Es uno de los actores más queridos y respetados de Australia, y ha intervenido en numerosos films australianos y americanos, entre ellos el clásico Sunday too far Away (1975), The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith (1978), Breaker Morant (1980) – por cuya interpretación obtuvo el premio al Mejor Actor Protagonista del  Australian Film Institute, y el premio al Mejor Actor de Reparto en el Festival de Cine de Cannes- The Man from Snowy River (1982), Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (1983), The Sum of Us (1994) y Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997).

En 1994, Jack Thompson recibió el premio Raymond Longford del Australian Film Institute por su destacada contribución al cine australiano.
