Debutó en el cine con Birdy, antes trabajaba como asesor empresarial en Nueva York. Ha intervenido en Carretera Perdida, de David Lynch, Starship Troopers, de Paul Verhoeven, y en Fighting Gravity, de Kiefer Sutherland. 

También le hemos visto en Heaven and Earth, Innocent Blood, Air America, Desafío Total, Dick Tracy, Los Gemelos golpean Dos Veces, Tucker, un Hombre y su Sueño, No Way Out y Stand By Me.

En cuanto a la televisión, ha intervenido en The Single Guy, Tales from the Crypt, Wiseguy, The Oldest Rookie y Canción Triste de Hill Street (Hill Street Blues).
